Release notes - July

The main focus of this release is to improve platform stability, make daily workflows smoother, and give users and administrators better control when working across the system.

Important notice:
As part of this release, we have completed a major migration from the old compliance structure to the new compliance structure.

This has involved significant data migration to ensure existing compliance data, mappings, and related content are carried over correctly. While we have reviewed the migration carefully, some customers may notice that certain compliance views, mappings, or related items appear differently than before.

If anything looks incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected, please contact support so we can review it together.

Key highlights

Improved compliance experience
Compliance pages have been updated with a cleaner URL structure and improved key views by expectation group. Cross-mapping between requirements and controls has also been improved.

More flexible permissions
Permissions can now be overridden on individual items, giving teams more control over access management. The permission editor has also been updated.

Improved sidebar and navigation
The sidebar now includes a recently viewed shortcut, better domain/workspace handling, and several fixes to make navigation more reliable.

Better admin and sync tools
Admin users now have improved sync error visibility, access to inner exception details, and a new reapply button on individual rows.

AI and documentation updates
The AI module has received documentation improvements, compliance-related documentation, support for attachments, and an AI pricing view in admin.

Export and translation improvements
Exported fields now support translations properly, and several fixes have been made to ensure translations are copied and handled correctly.

Flowchart usability improvements
Flowchart toolbars have been cleaned up with improved editing options, better icon contrast, and a new stroke transparency option.

Combined the domain and workspace switcher with a cleaner top-of-sidebar layout.
Updated the domain display to use icon and color more consistently.

Improved the icon selector so the selected icon can be unselected.

Fixed an issue where not all emails were logged correctly.
Fixed an issue where assessments were not automatically included when selected.
Fixed an issue where assessment sorting was not available.
Fixed a navigation issue where schema was pulled before authentication was ready.

Fixed an issue where field translations could overwrite instances of other fields.
Fixed an issue where some fields were missing when cloning.
Fixed an issue where document permissions did not respect direct participants.
